About the role
You will work on enterprise trade finance systems that banks rely on every day, extending business logic, building integrations and improving performance and maintainability. You will learn the trade finance domain in depth alongside experienced colleagues.
What you will do
- Design, build and enhance Java services for trade finance workflows and business rules.
- Develop integrations with core banking, messaging and document systems.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and take part in design and code reviews.
- Analyse and resolve production issues with care and clear communication.
- Tune database access and application performance.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of Java development on enterprise applications.
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Oracle Database preferred.
- Experience with enterprise application servers, REST APIs and messaging.
- Good understanding of testing, version control and CI/CD practices.
Nice to have
- Experience with trade finance, payments or other banking products.
- Familiarity with SWIFT message formats.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
